Global Capabilities
Margaret Roller maintains research contacts throughout the world, enabling her to conduct research on all parts of the globe. She has designed and managed Spanish-speaking research in Puerto Rico and literally traveled the world, spending time in: the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, North Africa, and all the regions of Europe.
In 2001, Margaret traveled to Baku, Azerbaijan to work with a research firm on behalf of the Citizens Democracy Corps. Margaret worked closely with the firm's principals to establish: an understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods, an ability to approach and discuss with clients various research designs, appropriate skills when working with clients, sound ethical parameters in the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research, proper analysis and reporting techniques depending on the research design, pricing models, and a greater presence of the firm in the Baku business community.
In 2002, Margaret traveled to Bucharest, Romania to work with the qualitative department of a prominent research firm. Margaret developed and executed training for the qualitative research team (moderators, analysts, and translator) in the areas of: client relations, proposal writing, basic and advanced moderating techniques, analysis (esp., the parameters of analysis within qualitative research), report writing, oral presentations, and Romanian-to-English translation skills.
